THE NUT JOB 2

PG

This is the cutest movie with a good story in this sequel to THE NUT JOB. In fact, I think it was better than the first movie.

Surly and his friends, Buddy, Andie and Precious discover that the mayor of Oakton City is building a giant amusement park in their home in the city park. It is up to them and the rest of the park animals to stop the mayor, along with his nasty daughter and a mad animal control officer from getting away with his scheme, and take back their park.

Will Arnett is the voice of Surley. Katherine Heigl is Andie.. Maya Rudolph is Precious and Jackie Chan is Mr. Feng. I think Mr. Chan will find animation easier on his body than action/adventure live movies. He isn’t getting any younger.

THE NUT JOB 2 was directed by Cal Bunker who also directed DESPICABLE ME, MINONS, and ICE AGE: CONTINENTAL DRIFT.

The film was written by Bob Barlen, Cal Brunker, and Scott Bindley based on the characters created by Peter Lepeniotis.

This is a really fun film for the whole family. I went without a child and loved it. Maybe it’s a throw back to my youth and childhood but I love cartoons. This was a well-done film.
