SPIDERMAN: FAR FROM HOME

By Mary Cox

PG-13

Marvel is at it again. Will the comic movies ever end? The answer is no; they make too much money. So, as long as people go to see these films there will always be Marvel movies. I must say up front that I still see Tobey Maguire when I think Spiderman and Kirsten Dunst is still M.J for me.

Following the events of the “Avengers: Endgame” Spiderman was chosen to take on the new threats to the world.

In this millionth version of Spiderman, Tom Holland plays Spiderman. Jake Gyllenhall is Mysterio, Zendaya is MJ and Samuel L. Jackson reprises his Nick Fury character. Zendaya is an exotic beauty instead of the All American Girl.

This is fast, fun and full of wonderful special effects.

John Watts directed.

Steve Ditko, Chris McKenna, and Erick Sommers wrote the screenplay based on the comic book by Stan Lee.

This is worth the money to see this in the theater. Save some room for popcorn!
